5 Minute Silken Tofu

This quick and easy dish features soft and creamy silken tofu topped with a savory and spicy chili garlic sauce. It’s perfect for a light meal or a side dish that’s packed with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Silken Tofu or Soft Tofu

For the Sauce

  • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce

  • 1 tsp Sugar or Honey

  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil

  • 1/2 tsp Toasted Sesame Seeds

  • 1/2 tsp Gochugaru (Korean chili flakes) or Red Pepper Flakes (optional)

  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced

  • 1 Green Onion, chopped

  • 1/2 Chili Pepper, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Tofu: Carefully remove the silken tofu from its package and place it on a serving plate. You can drain any excess water from the tofu.

  2. Make Sauce: In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar or honey, sesame oil, toasted sesame seeds, Gochugaru or red pepper flakes (if using), minced garlic, chopped green onion, and chopped chili pepper (if using). Mix well to combine.

  3. Assemble Dish: Pour the sauce evenly over the silken tofu.

  4. Serve: Serve immediately and enjoy this quick and flavorful dish as a light meal or a side.
